Harvest Fair and Special Events Information:
In between the Draft Horse performances, the Harvest Fair is bustling with activity. The Harvest Fair is an experience that can be enjoyed by kids and adults – and admission is free! Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the barns and meet the horses, taste the delicious Treat Street goodies, or sit and enjoy the live entertainment. With so much to see and do, there’s a little something for everyone at the Harvest Fair. Activities are on-going at the Fairgrounds during the Classic:

  • Western Trade Show
  • Treat Street Goodies
  • Clogging Jamboree
    Workshops and performances
  • Visit the Barns
Be sure to visit the barns during your visit to the Classic. The barns are open throughout the event in between performances.  However, they become “back stage” during performances and for safety purposes are closed when the horses are heading back and forth to the arena shows.
  • Special Exhibits
    • The History Exhibit
    • An exhibit of Early Day Gas Engines
    • Railroad Exhibit
  • Live Horse Shoeing Competition
  • Produce Characters, Painted Pumpkins and Prizes!
Visit the Floriculture Building to see exhibitors compete for cash awards and ribbons by showcasing their finest fruits, vegetables and crafts.
  • Classic BBQ Cook-Off (Sunday)
Whether you want to show off your cooking skills or simply join the fun and taste the treats—we’ve got it all in one place! More information
  • Bounty of the County (Saturday)
Bounty of the County is a pairing of fabulous local chefs and barbecue experts with the produce and meats of Nevada County Grown farmers and ranchers. This is local, fresh, and delicious food at its best – and a feast for your palette. More information
