TASTE OF THE GOLD COUNTRY:

A Taste of the Gold Country brings a sampling of fine food and drink together in one place by featuring food from an abundance of local restaurants and wineries, all served to a background of cool jazz and breezes whispering through the tall pines at the Fairgrounds.

This fabulously fun and tasty event, featuring some of the Gold Country’s finest restaurants and wineries, takes place on Saturday afternoon of the Draft Horse Classic. Find your favorite wine, and with glass in hand, nibble your way through more restaurants than you could possibly visit in a long weekend. With your first taste and your first sip, you’ll soon recognize why A Taste of the Gold Country has become such a popular event.
