Nevada County Fair officials have scheduled a livestock meeting on Thursday, November 15th to review the 2007 Fair’s livestock program and plan for the 2008 Fair. September 27, 2007 -- 21st Annual Draft Horse Classic Awards Simpson’s Percherons the Ultimate Hitch
The 21st annual Draft Horse Classic was held September 20 through 23 at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley. The honorable Dr. Scott Nebergall from Arthur, Illinois, a breeder of Clydesdale and Belgians, judged the draft horse competitions. September 13, 2007 -- Midwestern Judge Will Pick Western Winners At 21st Annual Draft Horse Classic & Harvest Fair
Dr. Scott Nebergall of Arthur, Illinois has been selected to judge this year's Draft Horse Classic at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. The Smith family of Nevada City has been named Family of the Year by the Nevada County Fair's Board of Directors. May 23, 2007 -- Nevada County Fair Requires Mandatory Registration of Goat, Sheep and Swine Market Animals for 2007 Fair
The Nevada County Fair has scheduled a mandatory tagging and registration on Sunday, June 10th for goats and lambs being raised as market animals for the 2007 Fair. A trio of long-time supporters has been named to the Nevada County Fair's Hall of Fame.
The Fair's Board of Directors has named former bookkeeper Gladys Short along with former directors Jack and Beth Moorhead to the honored group.
