Join the beautiful Draft Horses at the 2012 Draft Horse Classic – September 20 – 23. Majestic Draft Horse performances, breath-taking competitions, and seeing a Draft Horse “up-close” – it’s all part of the Annual Draft Horse Classic and Harvest Fair at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley. The Classic has grown to become the premier Draft Horse show in the western United States, and features six majestic performances, along with non-stop entertainment in between classes.  Again this year, we’re offering discounted pricing on morning performances and children’s tickets.

Tickets are on sale now. There are numerous ways to order your tickets:

• Download your ticket order form and mail it to the Fairgrounds at PO Box 2687, Grass Valley, CA 95945
• Order your tickets on-line (beginning June 1)

Performance Schedule

Harvest Fair:

In between visiting the horses in the barns, stroll over to see Art at the Classic, horseshoeing, a clogging jamboree, the agricultural competitions, and the youth art show. Special guided barn tours will be offered, Treat Street will be serving delicious food, the Western Trade Show will be open for browsing and shopping, and there will be free entertainment at the Pine Tree Stage. Don’t miss the 2^nd Annual Classic Rib Cook-off on Sunday of the Classic.

Although there is a fee for the Draft Horse performances, admission to the Fairgrounds is free, so stop by anytime during the Classic.
