See the beautiful draft horses at the 2025 Draft Horse Classic and Harvest Fair! Watch six amazing shows spread over four days featuring majestic draft horse performances, breathtaking competitions, along with non-stop entertainment in between classes. Between shows, you'll have an opportunity to get up close to a draft horse.

This is all a part of the Annual Draft Horse Classic and Harvest Fair at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley. The Classic has grown to become the premier draft horse show in the western United States.

Admission to the Fairgrounds during the Draft Horse Classic & Harvest Fair is free. Tickets to the arena draft horse shows are available.

Saturday gates open at 8am

Volunteer at the Draft Horse Classic!

We are seeking community volunteers to donate a few hours and join the team!

Position Description:

Grandstand Ushers will assist patrons in finding their seats, whether they are general admission or reserved.

In exchange for volunteering, you will receive:

One free Draft Horse Classic souvenir t-shirt featuring the 2025 poster
A stylish Nevada County Fair t-shirt to wear during your shift.
Two Draft Horse Classic performance tickets and a free parking pass.
An incredible experience interacting with visitors!
