Volunteer at the 2012 Fair!
Want to volunteer at the Fair? The Nevada County Fairgrounds is currently looking for individuals interested in volunteering at the 2012 Nevada County Fair. If you’re interested in volunteering at this year’s Fair, look over the various volunteer opportunities, complete a volunteer application, and return it to the Fair Office by June 15.
Join us at the 2012 Nevada County Fair - August 8 - 12. We have five days of excitement and fun planned for Fair-goers of all ages. The Nevada County Fair is the perfect opportunity to enjoy live entertainment, delicious food, carnival rides, animals, and exhibits – in a community-friendly environment and at affordable family prices!
As a reminder, no pets are allowed on the grounds during the Fair.

Nevada County Fair seeking entertainers, community showcase acts for 2012 Fair Applications available for those interested in performing or demonstrating at this year’s Fair. The Nevada County Fair is now accepting applications for local entertainers and community acts to perform at the 2012 Nevada County Fair, August 8 – 12. Do you have a dance group you’d like to see perform at the Fair? Does your group have a skill they’d like to demonstrate to Fair-goers? Want to do a martial arts demonstration or a cheerleading demonstration or show off your baton twirling skills? If so, the Fairgrounds wants your application. Cars and Drivers Wanted for the 2012 Nevada County Fair Destruction Derby If you are interested in driving in the 2012 Nevada County Fair Destruction Derby at the Nevada County Fair, driver rules and applications are now available at www.hollandracingpromotions.net, via email at hollandracing@pacific.net, or by calling the Racing Office at (707) 485-8687. Driver rules and applications are also available at the Nevada County Fairgrounds Office.
The driver purse payout is $5,000, with the first place winner receiving a check for $3,000!
The 2012 Nevada County Fair’s Destruction Derby, promoted by Holland Racing Promotions, will be held in the arena on Sunday, August 12 at 7 pm.
